For the first time in a long time, trail care in Daisy Hill Conservation Park is back! Come along and be part of helping to breathe new life into classic trail 'Possum Box' (Track 1). The aim is to build a crossing in the bottom gully that is always (and especially now) under water as well as other tweaks to improve the flow and sustainability of the trail. NOTE: Possum Box will be closed to riding during works. There will be a free BBQ provided afterwards for all involved.
TIME: 6:30am (Please remember, if you can't make the start time you are more than welcome to come along when you can.) We anticipate 3 to 4 hours work.
WHAT TO BRING: LCTA have a supply of shovels, mattocks and rakehoes but if you do have one please bring it along. Wheelbarrows will be needed as well as the usual gloves, hat, sunscreen, water and a great attitude.
MEET: In the Daisy Hill top car park. We'll drop tools off in the vehicles and then ride down to the trail from there. If you come late, head down the trail until you find us.
